An old abandoned boat still tied up to the dock in Freeport, NY has seen better days. Its reflection in the water doesn't help its forlorn and forgotten look.

Thank you Lisa.
Thank you for participating in my contest. Beautiful composition. Love it. L
Thank you Lynne. It hangs in my house as a 2' X 3' canvas.
Great shot - textures and colors, and this would be a wonderful source for a painting - do it justice, Lynne!
Can't wait to see it!
Thanks, Bob! I would certainly give acknowledgement to your beautiful photo as the original source of a painting. Also I would be glad to furnish you with an 8x10 print of the completed product.
Hi Bob- My name's Lynne Wright, and that's me with my husband Don, in the comments. I'm a painter in oils and watercolors and would like to ask your permission to make a painting of this fantastic old boat. I would of course acknowledge you as the inspiration. Thanks for your time and consideration. I love it. f/v

Be my guest, the acknowledgement would be nice, and I would love to see it when your done.
Oh boy Bob, this is nothing short of mega-cool. If there is such a thing! I love this. That boat looks like it would have been one heck of a lot of fun, had it not fallen on bad times. The very slight ripple in the water, distorting the reflections, is really good. Thank you, and welcome to Abandoned and Forlorn.
Thank you for the feature Carson.
