About Bob Slitzan
Bob Slitzan has been interested in photography for over 50 years. He has used 35mm, twin lens reflex, 4x5, 5x7 and 8x10 cameras and currently uses a Sony A7Rll digital with a Sony 28mm-200mm and a Canon EOS 7D digital with a Tamron 18-270mm and a Canon 100mm macro. In the 1960s he did developing and printing in his own darkroom and remembers when he first did his own color printing when it became available to the general public. He graduated from the New York Institute of Photography when it was a brick and mortar school across the street from the Empire State Building in 1968. Over the years his work has been displayed in many venues on Long Island, New York and Key West, Florida. Although his work is eclectic, he enjoys shooting birds[sic], landscapes and nature. Bob worked as a computer coordinator at an advertising agency for many years and most recently in an IT position for a major hospital. He is now retired spending his time taking pictures throughout the world and living in paradise, Key West, Florida.
