I can't decide, is the turkey a truly beautiful bird, or just plain ugly? I know it looks good on a platter. But this guy and his friends have nothing to worry about because they're at the Monroe County Sheriff's Office Animal Farm in the Stock Island Detention Center, at 5501 College Road. A great place to visit (for the farm!). The Monroe County Sheriff's Office Animal Farm is home to over 250 animals. They provide a haven for animals which have been abandoned, abused, confiscated or donated. The farm is open the second and fourth Sundays each month from 1 - 3 p.m., and is free of charge to the public. From a very young age, I was always interested in photography. I graduated from the NY Institute of Photography in 1968. Many of my photos have been shown in venues throughout New York and Key West, Florida. My photography is eclectic, but I love shooting birds[sic], landscapes and all nature. My art is now available on T-Shirts and other types of clothing, plus the always popular canvas and many other types of prints including acrylic, metal, and of course framed with hundreds of frames, colors, matting and sizes to choose from. Also available are printed specialty products such as greeting cards, cell phone cases, throw pillows, tote bags, duvet covers and more. I am now semi-retired working on my photography in Prattville, Alabama....
